Commitments as Deep as our Expertise
Perpetua Resources is a modern American mining company in Idaho, focused on responsible resource development and renewing the environment at an abandoned mine site. The work we do has restoration weaved into every step of our plan. Our team of engineers and environmental scientists operate with a dual responsibility: to contribute to America’s resource security, and to do the work in a way that reflects the values and expectations of the communities closest to it.
Esto Perpetua
Inspired by Idaho’s state motto, Esto Perpetua, meaning Let it be Perpetual—we make decisions shaped by long-term responsibility to the environment, the people who live here, and the role these resources play nationally.

Safety is Our Standard
Our culture of safety reflects how seriously we take this work, and the responsibility that comes with it. It’s a measure of discipline, trust, and respect for the people and places impacted. Every employee completes annual compliance and integrity training. In a remote and environmentally sensitive setting, safety is foundational to long-term success.
Working For Idaho
Our CEO, Jon Cherry, began his career in Idaho mining, leading projects recognized for environmental performance. Our board brings expertise in mining engineering, environmental compliance, and Idaho public service. Leadership at Perpetua is visible and accountable. These are the people working on site, participating in community meetings, and ultimately responsible for the outcomes of their decisions.

Community Involvement & Transparency
Our approach has always started with listening. Through direct feedback, we’ve made the Project better. We’re committed to maintaining an open door to the communities around us, so our collective work is shaped by all of us working together as neighbors.

Environmental Responsibility & Accountability
We measure and report our performance against clear environmental and operational standards. We’ve published sustainability reports annually since 2013 and established a formal ESG policy in 2019. We track greenhouse gas emissions, monitor water quality, and report progress against benchmarks set by both our own restoration plan and federal oversight agencies.

Tribal Communities & Heritage
The area surrounding the Stibnite Mining District holds deep cultural and historical importance for Tribal nations. We recognize this significance and engage respectfully with Idaho’s Tribes. Our relationships with these communities are ongoing, rooted in listening, and shared interest in preserving Idaho’s heritage for generations to come.
