Commitments Shaped by Community
Community input doesn’t just inform this work—it shapes and improves it. For more than a decade, we’ve created connections with the people and towns surrounding the Stibnite Gold Project. We’ve stayed in close conversation through monthly meetings, school visits, public comment sessions, and direct outreach. The Project moving forward today reflects years of input, refinement, and follow-through.
Local Investment
Local Jobs and Workforce Development
The Project is advancing toward operations—creating one of the most significant workforce buildouts in the region. Hiring prioritizes local workers, alongside investment in career technical education across five regional high schools.
Local Vendors and Services
We work with local businesses whenever possible. Since 2014, Perpetua has invested $108 million across Idaho through vendors, service providers, and regional partners.
Road Maintenance and Infrastructure
We maintain project corridor roads at our own expense, providing dust control, grading, culvert repair, and avalanche clearing. Since 2014, more than $7.9 million has been invested in regional roadwork.
Regional Partnerships
Community Agreement
Perpetua entered into a formal Community Agreement in 2018 with eight of the closest communities to the Stibnite Gold Project This agreement creates a collaborative environment for Perpetua to work with our neighbors throughout the life of the Project.
Stibnite Advisory Council
Formed through a 2018 agreement, the Stibnite Advisory Council meets monthly and provides a direct forum for eight communities across the West Central Mountains to ask questions and address opportunities and concerns related to the Stibnite Gold Project directly with Perpetua’s team.
Stibnite Foundation
Established in 2019, the Stibnite Foundation directs a portion of Project revenue back into surrounding communities, with local input guiding how the funds are used.
Community Agreements
Yellow Pine Communications Agreement
In 2023, Perpetua signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Village of Yellow Pine, the closest neighboring community to the Stibnite Gold Project, committing to providing the Village with regular Project updates and a dedicated venue to raise questions and concerns with Perpetua’s team.
Community Impact Benefit Agreement
Perpetua entered into a formal Community Impact Benefit Agreement with Valley County in 2025 addressing housing, waste management, emergency services, and education. The commitments are defined, measurable, backed by financial support, and publicly documented.
Valley County Road Maintenance Agreement
Formalized in 2026, Perpetua signed a road maintenance agreement with Valley County agreeing to pay for the Company’s proportional use of County roads, as well as seasonal road maintenance.

Giving Programs
Perpetua supports local organizations across Valley County and the surrounding region, with priorities shaped by community-identified needs. Since 2014, Perpetua has given more than $3.6 million to support parks and recreation, childcare and education programs, local transit, and community events to help strengthen the services communities rely on day to day.

Scholarships
We invest in local students and workforce development programs that expand access to education and skilled careers. This includes more than $107,000 in scholarships, a $250,000 commitment to the College of Western Idaho, and $100,000 to support career technical education across five regional high schools.
