Technical Project Documents
A decade of study and environmental review is documented here. Access feasibility studies, environmental impact statements, mitigation plans, specialist reports, and regulatory filings related to the Stibnite Gold Project.
Perpetua Resources has been studying the Stibnite Mining District for more than a decade. In 2014, we published our Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) to the U.S. Forest Service. This document was foundational in helping our team develop our Plan of Restoration and Operations (PRO), which we submitted to regulators in 2016. Once we submitted the PRO we continued to study the site and found ways to improve our project. The public was able to review our refinements when the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) was published in 2020, they were included as Alternative 2 in the document.
Nearly 10,000 people commented on the DEIS. Our team reviewed all of the public feedback and used it to identify further improvements to our plans. Near the start of 2021, we revised our preferred alternative, and submitted our Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement (SDEIS) to the U.S. Forest Service in 2022. In 2024, the agency published the Stibnite Gold Project’s Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) and Draft Record of Decision (Draft ROD). In January 2025, it published the project’s Final Record of Decision (Final ROD), capping eight years of environmental review under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
